Reviews and Ratings
The hotel in Watford offers spacious and well-decorated rooms with a large bathroom and strong Wi-Fi, considering it's not in London. The location feels like you're in the countryside, with beautiful surroundings and friendly staff, though there were instances of fire alarms going off during the night.
The hotel went above-and-beyond to make my husband feel special for his birthday. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although perhaps not equipped with all the modern conveniences. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay at the Grove truly enjoyable. The location was stunning with beautiful flowers and ornamental features, providing a romantic atmosphere, but slightly spoiled by some shortcomings. Dining in the newly refurbished glasshouse restaurant was amazing with diverse choices and superb taste.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were uncomfortably hot above the ceiling and the jacuzzi was too cold. However, the service was excellent and attentive. The location was lovely with a swimming pool, and the dining experience was great with plenty of food choices.
